Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards integrating financial and non-financial data using relevant tools and software.
Gather, analyse, and interpret financial and non-financial data from various sources to provide holistic insights to management regarding business performance.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through regular validation and reconciliation processes, with a focus on aligning financial and non-financial metrics.
Collaborate closely with departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and human resources to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and their impact on financial outcomes.
Generate ad-hoc reports analysing the relationship between financial and non-financial metrics, providing actionable insights for decision-making, particularly focusing on budget vs. actual performance.
Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted figures with actual performance across both financial and non-financial metrics, identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations.
Identify correlations and trends between financial and non-financial data, providing recommendations for improving overall business performance and budgetary planning.
Assist in the development and implementation of new MIS tools and systems to enhance integration capabilities between financial and non-financial data sources, with a specific focus on budgetary monitoring.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to integrated financial and non-financial analysis, with a focus on budget management and performance monitoring.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as an MIS Executive or similar role, with expertise in integrating financial and non-financial data for analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data from multiple sources.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and other relevant data analysis tools, with a focus on integrating diverse datasets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting, with a focus on aligning financial and non-financial metrics.
Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is a plus, particularly those with integrated reporting capabilities.
Certification in data analysis or related field is desirable.
