We are seeking someone with a heavy industrial background preferably from steel or metal.
Location: Brantford
Shift: 2 weeks on straight days and 1 week on afternoons
OT is paid past 8 hours on your workday.
OT 1.5x paid on Saturdays.

Payrate: $41.40 per hour on days and +0.60cents on afternoons
We are only looking for someone with a 433a ticket.

Responsibilities
- Maintain plant machinery & equipment from routine mechanical maintenance to complex machine & equipment repairs.
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery.
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Operate rigging equipment & dollies to place heavy machinery & parts.
- Fitting bearings, aligning gears & shafts, replace pumps, attach motors & connect couplings & belts to precise tolerances
- Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and policies.
- Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment used in production and facility operation through continual predictive and preventative maintenance disciplines.
- Document repairs from service requests & PM’s
Qualifications
- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
- 2- 5 Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with respect to Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, align and adjust precision machines, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with various presses, upsetters, forge hammers
- Demonstrated knowledge of clearances, tolerances, bearings and precision parts.
- Basic personal computer and corporate standard software skills (MS Word, Excel) are required.
- Basic skills in planning and scheduling of maintenance work are required.
- Availability to work 8 hour shifts rotating between days/afternoons
