Responsibilities
Creation and Management: Create and manage all Modular Relay Schedules on behalf of core Space Planners. Ensure tracking and communication of all milestones, statuses, risks, and mitigation plans to cross-functional stakeholders and work package owners. Attend key MRS-related meetings (pre-planning, kickoff, walkthrough), capturing relevant notes.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks, ensure document control, and complete system finalization of checked-in planograms and category floor plans. Handle related communications, follow-up, standards validation, and management of change requests.
Support Services: Provide Level 1 store support and CA technical support for issues related to category floor plans and/or planograms. Track all intakes/support tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and communication. Resolve simple issues and triage complex issues to appropriate core Space Planner and/or cross-functional resources for research and root cause analysis. Track defects and institute corrective actions related to process, ways of working, and reporting as needed.
Strategic Initiatives: Support Merchandising and broader organizational strategic initiatives requiring analysis and/or modifications to category and/or modular space. Manage intake and assessment of requests, scoping, preparation of hand-off documents, and liaising with Core Space Planner or 3rd party vendor support where necessary.
Communication and Insights: Produce outputs reflecting strong business acumen and capacity to manage multiple priorities. Draw insights from data and translate them into action, with the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
Market Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of market, category, brand, and consumer trends to provide insights during the planogram build process.
Process Improvement: Engage in process improvement to identify and action enhancements to Space Excellence efficiency, quality, and cross-functional ways of working.
Qualifications
Education: College Certificate or Diploma.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Certifications: JDA Certification (considered an asset).
Expertise: Experience and expertise in JDA Floor Plan and Space Planning.
