We are looking for a membership manager to join our client’s team, a trade association for institutional limited partners in the private equity asset class.
This position is a two-month contract with an immediate start date and potential permanency.

Responsibilities
Member Engagement:
-Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote membership growth, engagement, and retention, including the development and management of segmented offerings (e.g., Networks, Virtual Member Gatherings)
-Build member engagement through recurring touchpoints at the individual and organizational levels by identifying opportunities for members to engage and utilize resources
-Review incoming membership enquiries to assess alignment with the company's criteria
-Oversee and maintain an active prospecting funnel via Salesforce and manage outreach campaigns
-Leverage insights gleaned from data and through conversations with members and staff to engage in team discussions on membership growth, engagement, and retention strategies
-Support the Director Membership in all aspects of membership, including meetings, committee engagements, and team off-sites
-Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (i.e., staff and committees), and external stakeholders (i.e., sponsors and service providers)
Administrative Membership Maintenance:
-Serve as primary contact for the company and help in accessing and navigating resources
-Responsible for management and timely response to all incoming inquiries, members, prospects and other industry participants
Limited Partner Data Integrity:
-Ensure information about members is added to Salesforce accurately and on a timely basis.
-Contribute to the administration of tracking member activity in Salesforce, including the development of reports and dashboards.
-Coordinate with IT team to resolve any IT related issues in use of Salesforce
-Manage the coordination and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely processing of membership dues and resolve issues arising from operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
-A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or organization management
-3-4 years of relevant experience in not-for-profit sector management, association management, consultancy or a membership-related organization
Preferred Qualifications
-2+ years of experience in financial services, not-for-profit sector management, or association management. Experience in private markets is an asset.
-Competence in planning, developing, and implementing membership support, engagement and development strategies and plans.
-Successful track record in customer service, business development, association membership, online community management, and developing relationships with existing and prospective members
-Experience with Salesforce, Pardot or similar CRM or marketing automation tools considered an asset
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills (i.e.; pivot tables, formulas, preparation of data for migration)
-Experience with Zoom or similar web conferencing software
-Proven experience in the delivery of engagement/service delivery strategies
-Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to get along with diverse constituencies and
-personalities, including members, committees or working groups, staff, and external stakeholders
-Commitment to exceptional members service and a solutions-oriented mindset
-Creative ability and resourceful problem-solving skills
-Excellent time management and ability to prioritize effectively
-Driven, energetic and results-oriented
-High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency in task management
