Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Member Engagement Officer to join their Member & Community Engagement Division. In this role, you will manage diverse customer interactions, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in hospitality or retail to advance their careers by applying their customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a customer focused approach and the Member Engagement Principles when discussing and offering products and services.
- Communicate effectively to understand and meet member needs, delivering quality conversations with strong product knowledge.
- Foster an open and honest environment where members feel comfortable sharing.
- Meet member expectations and respond to feedback promptly, accurately documenting actions based on trust, ease, and empathy.
- Address and escalate member complaints or inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our client's policies, procedures, systems, and products for confident and compliant assistance.
- Perform daily transactional duties per policies and report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
Minimum requirements:
- 1-2 year customer service experience.
- Previous call center experience desirable but not required

- Show empathy to customers and cultivate a cooperative team atmosphere, providing support and understanding to both customers and colleagues.
- Communicate transparently and effectively, actively listening to customer concerns and offering clear information and solutions.
- Stay calm under pressure, handle challenging conversations with patience and professionalism, and manage stress effectively to maintain high-quality service.
