This is a part-time, evening contract with a chance of being extended.
Hours: 5pm to 8pm. 2 shifts of 3 hrs per week.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Medical Secretary include;
-Organize and maintain physical and digital files .
-Implement an efficient filing system for paperwork, ensuring accessibility and organization.
-Manage and archive medical slides and documents as needed.
-Facilitate timely and accurate document transmission via fax
-Handle incoming calls and correspondence, redirecting or responding as necessary.
-Draft and proofread routine correspondences, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital guidelines.
-Open incoming consults promptly, ensuring all necessary information is captured accurately.
-Organize and manage materials related to consult returns, collaborating with healthcare professionals.
-Work closely with office staff to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
-A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a medical setting as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role.
-Strong customer service and patient focused
-Strong attention to detail
-Someone with excellent organization skills
-Ability to multitask and prioritize while adhering to deadlines
