As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will join our Warehousing Project Engineering Department in Veghel. The Project Engineering Department is in charge of completing projects that implement the various mechanical and electrical components of our material handling systems. The Mechanical Project Engineer is a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, reporting to a Project Leader.

The end client has a logistical requirement, and you must be able to accommodate this while maintaining building complexity and safety precautions.
You must coordinate with multiple disciplines and consequently have a hands-on approach. You configure the system, so you spend a lot of time in CAD fitting it in. Aligning design and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Complete the 3D design from sketch to customer approval.
- Create the Bill of Material and ensure that your Supply Chain colleagues can deliver on time and within customer specifications.
- Support the site installation teams with your knowledge (either remote or on site).
- Solve any issues that you encounter, either during engineering or installation/commissioning phase of the project.
About the team
The Project Engineering department is in charge of the global execution of projects in which the various components (mechanical, electromechanical, and controls) of our material handling systems are implemented. The Controls Project Engineer collaborates with the Integration Manager, Layout, and Electrical Engineers to form a multidisciplinary team.
