Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of a site based Mechanical Reliability Engineer within a leading mining and resources organisation. Your role will focus on the end to end maintenance system, inclusive of parts, procedures, work quality and processes.
Key responsibilities of this role include but not limited too:
- Develop operating and work procedures for the team working on the reliability program
- Ensure the site is compliant with relevant standards and statutory obligations
- Complete up front execution Project Works (PIA’s, SOR’s etc.) & raise ERN’s
- Perform quality checks for execution tasks as required
- Participate in audits of site equipment and systems to ensure that site asset managment practices meet company requirements and remain compliant
- Review execution results from current weekly work schedule to support and ensure compliance of preventative maintenance
The successful candidate will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Mining or Heavy Industry
- Excellent computing skills
- Excellent knowledge of Asset Management principles and experience
- Strong focus on safety and knowledge of OH&S and mining regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly technical and detailed
- Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and preference will be given to those with mining experience.
