Job Title: M&E Commercial Manager

Salary: £110k-£140k plus package
About the Company:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction specialist renowned for delivering high-quality projects in the life science, data centre, and logistics sectors. With a solid pipeline of work and a commitment to excellence, our client is seeking a skilled M&E Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As the M&E Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of several recently secured projects, with values ranging from £50m to £200m. You will ensure that all commercial activities are carried out efficiently, aligning with the company's standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all commercial functions related to M&E works on assigned projects.
- Provide commercial support and advice to the project team.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
- Conduct risk and value management.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project financials.
- Oversee contract administration and compliance.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow and expenditure.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of post-degree experience working for a main contractor or M&E subcontractor.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle.
- Proven experience in PSCA (Pre-Contract Service Agreement) management.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is desirable but not essential.
