Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
- Experience of teaching Maths in KS3 and KS4
- A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Responsibilities
- Must deliver Maths lessons up to KS4 GCSE
- Plan, prepare, and deliver suitable lessons within the specialist subject area, ensuring accessibility for all students
- Attend staff training sessions and meetings
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and achievement.
- Uphold discipline using various classroom management techniques in alignment with the school's behaviour management policy
- Guide students in applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios
