Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to support our client in Sheffield. The secondary school is located in Sheffield S8 and is dedicated to ensuring their students receive quality education and support to build curiosity, consideration and commitment.

The secondary school is looking for a Maths Teacher who can immerse themselves in the role to inspire and enhance students' understanding and knowledge of the Maths curriculum and can create a fun and collaborative learning environment!
This job is for a full time vacancy and is to start September 2024. All applicants must be available and eligible to work full time and available to start in September with potential for interview before the end of the current academic year.

To be successful in the Maths Teacher role, you should:
- (Must) Hold QTS qualification or equivalent.
- (Must) Hold a Maths qualification.
- (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
- Previous experience teaching KS3/ KS4.
- Previous experience teaching the Maths curriculum.
- A passion for Maths!
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be:
- Creating and presenting inspiring Maths lessons.
- Complete risk assessments and preparations for practicals.
- Marking and assessing students' work.
- Ensure students are working towards objectives and the Maths curriculum.
- Manage the classroom to support all students' learning needs.
- Build rapport with your students and other members of the Maths department.
