School in Hampshire is an independent specialist school providing high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centred education for pupils aged 11 to 17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many of our students also have additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. As a trauma and attachment-informed organisation, we offer extensive therapeutic training and support to all staff.
Our school focuses on a collaborative approach, placing the child at the centre of all decision-making. Our team includes education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authority teams, working closely with students to secure outstanding outcomes.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young people with SEMH needs. Our Maths curriculum spans Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE, providing opportunities to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
In this role, you will deliver creative and engaging Maths lessons, adapted to meet the individual needs of our students. You will be supported by subject champions and specialist teaching assistants to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed. Our school is looking for a teacher who understands the importance of building nurturing and professional relationships with students, creating a positive learning environment that motivates them to achieve their best.
