The Role :

We are looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to work at our partnered esteemed SEN School based in Cambridge. As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in Mathematics to students with a variety of SEN, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges. Your role will be to foster a love of learning, while providing tailored support to help students develop their mathematical skills and build confidence in their abilities.

Adapt teaching methods and resources to support individual learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set achievable learning targets.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Contribute to the wider school community and be a positive influence on students' personal and academic growth.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, ideally in an SEN or inclusive setting.
DBS (or the willingness to apply)
A strong understanding of SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
A creative, flexible approach to teaching that ensures all students can succeed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students.
