If so, then step into a rewarding role as a Maths Instructor at an esteemed SEN School based in Wisbech. We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH) as they unlock their mathematical potential.
About the Role:
As a Maths Instructor, you will provide tailored support to individuals and small groups of students, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and accessible Maths instruction tailored to individual learning styles and needs.
- Building positive relationships with students, fostering their self-esteem and confidence in their abilities.
- Implementing creative and interactive teaching methods that cater to different learning styles and keep students motivated.
- Collaborating with our dedicated SEN team, including support staff, therapists, and parents/guardians, to provide a holistic approach to student wellbeing.
About You:
- A passion for Maths and a talent for explaining it in a clear and engaging way.
- Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience with a commitment to inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
