About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant school community in Leigh-on-Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). This is a full-time position, commencing in September 2024. The school was rated 'Good' by OFSTED within the last 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
