Location: Milton/Halton Hills
Department: Shipping/Material Handling department
This role is a contract position with the intention to hire on candidates after they have displayed the required skills and competencies' required by the company.

Responsibilities
- Receive and load shipments off of trucks
- Check paperwork and inspect the product on arrival and before departure
- Use a counterbalance forklift and a reach forklift to move products throughout the facility.
- Place products into racking
- Use an overhead crane to assist in the crating/palletizing of products.
- prepare shipping paperwork (domestic and international) as required
- communicate with other teams to establish timelines on work.
- manually pick parts for orders as well as use a forklift to pick large parts
- Lift up-to 50lbs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of forklift operation
- 3+ years in heavy equipment manufacturing environment
- External forklift license on counterbalance and reach
- physically capable of lifting up-to 50lbs
- good communication skills
- able to work both independently and in a team
