Responsibilities:
1, Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for assigned game(s) in the Chinese market, aligned with global marketing strategies.
2, Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and player data to identify opportunities and optimize marketing campaigns.
3, Manage and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, online advertising, influencer marketing, and strategic public relations, aligned with overall business objectives, Communicating and coordinating plans closely with relevant internal teams.
4, Develop and implement innovative plans that maximise player acquisition and player engagement across a wide range of social media and community platforms, including but not limited to Weibo, BiliBili, Heybox, WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohong shu, and Zhihu etc; monitor, measure, and engage community feedback across social media channels in China.
5, Manage and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring ROI and efficient resource allocation. Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization based on the results of the KPIs and MarComm coverage.
6, Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including media, influencers, and platform providers.
7, Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including press releases, website content, and social media posts.
8, Survey activity and aggregate coverage from across Europe and report back to the wider organisation.
9, Build and maintain strong press relationships in China with key media outlets becoming a trusted contact to share our news and stories – both enthusiast and mainstream; secure positive coverage for our titles by localizing communications materials including press releases and preview/ review guide, thoughtful feature pitches, messaging and more for owned titles.
10, Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed about market developments. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the Chinese gaming market.
11, Evaluate internal game products (for marketing purposes), competitor research, and audience analysis to assist marketing and communications efforts in China; also evaluate external game products (for business acquisition purposes), competitor research, and audience analysis to assist the Business Acquisition team.
12, Prepare materials and reports on internal and external games and present to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1, Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2, 2+ years of experience in marketing within the gaming industry, with a focus on the Chinese market and a knowledge of the premium [indie, AA and AAA] and F2P segments
3, Strong understanding of the Chinese gaming landscape, including key platforms, demographics, and trends.
4, Experience with social media marketing and influencer marketing in China.
5, Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
6, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
8, Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and working knowledge of English is essential.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Mainland China. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for our games in the Chinese market, working closely with our Greater China and APAC teams and our 505 Games [premium and Free-to-play] and 505 Pulse overseas publishing team.
