■Job SummaryResponsible for creating and managing the most effective Marketing strategy with clear KGI and KPI for Japan, bearing in mind the retail sales trend & customer profiles data reported from the licensees and the overall Global Brand Marketing Strategies.■Specific Responsibilities1. To be fully responsible for the effective running of all Marketing activities for the company brand within budget, approved by Director Japan and other stakeholders.2. Take ownership of the strategy creation from identifying the challenges the brand faces through to create strategy to tackle them with clear KGI and KPI for the Team/ External Partners.3. To plan seasonal Marketing Calendar, covering PR communication, VIP influencer marketing, clear yet ambitious exploitation of each SNS platforms, in addition to physical and online brand activities to generate interests and relevance around the brand for the target audiences.4. By leading the team, drawing out the best from the individual staff, and together implement the strategy to achieve KGI/KPI set for each project. Working with the team, collate reports after each project. Review the success and shortcomings each season with the team and discuss constructively with Senior Marketing Manager/ UK HQ to improve the future strategy creation and planning.5. Be fully informed of global Marketing and PR Strategy. Build a comprehensive marketing calendar for Japan, highlighting the commercial and brand moments throughout the year, deciding where to align with the global strategy and where to go local. The balance needs to be reviewed each season with Director Japan/ Global Marketing Team.6. Be a point of contact for Japan Marketing and PR for the key license stakeholders (external parties).7. Manage PR team to ensure their activities align most effectively with brand marketing strategy to ensure PR and Marketing projects/ objectives are not only aligned but also cohesively operated to maximize the effectiveness, be it brand story telling, brand product exposure, use of influencer or VIP in Japan.8. Draw actionable insights from reports, implement best practices and forecast commercials to measure the impact and efficiency.9. To foster a good working relationship with advertisement agencies, PR agencies, casting directors, external and internal creative teams. Be up to speed with new agencies, and other up and coming players in the fashion lifestyle PR and Marketing agencies, so as to enable the company to review and always work with the best partners in the market.10. Work closely with Director Japan to manage Master and Sub licensees’ in the area of PR and Marketing.11. Report to Director Japan each month of the marketing & PR spend, create reports of the same.12. Working with Director Japan on financial year planning as required.13. While bringing innovative ways to market the brand, always evolving, to be the gate keeper of the company creative spirit and its well established standing- always endeavor to bring the standing closer to that we enjoy in the rest of the world.14. Organize visit itineraries and escorts as required. Plan the very best schedule to maximize the presence in Japan during the visit.15.
