1. Lead the development and execution of the Japan/Korea marketing strategy as a member of the regional leadership team:- to deliver the XXXXX global brand strategy in the region- to drive brand desire and business growth in the region- to ensure effective media and marketing investment plans2. Lead the development of seasonal marketing plans to ensure the XXXXX brand has an aligned and best possible presentation across all channels and media including:- Advertising- Consumer and Trade PR- Digital marketing (non-ecommerce)- Retail marketing and service- VMD across all channels- Sales conference and trade marketing support- Marketing support for wholesale/distributor market3. Ensure and implement XXXXX brand assets and marketing materials for Japan/Korea which tell a compelling story and can be used across all channels and:- are effectively adapted from global (language/size etc.) or developed locally (e.g. promotions, trading events)- are well communicated internally and externally with distributors.- help lead and oversee any regional creative and messaging, including the development of regional assets, ensuring those assets are on-brand and meeting all guidelines.4. Oversee the suite of external agencies and suppliers:- Adopt global evaluation of agency performance to ensure consistency, best practice, and cost efficiency.- Manage external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.5. Financial responsibilities including:- Regional marketing budget and forecast management: monitor expenditures and ensure campaigns are cost effective whilst delivering results.- Develop a simple set of key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with regional commercial goals in Japan/ Korea.6. Team Management- Lead, engage and develop a high performing team, set team member objectives, appraise performance, plan future succession, and coach the team in line with XXXXX’ performance management processes.

Required Experience:
•At least 10 years Marketing experience in an international working environment
•Successful experience in online/offline marketing in a consumer goods company
•Ability to manage external stakeholders such as agencies, studio, media, etc.
•Previous experience of working with teams spread over different regions.
•Previous experience of leading a team and coaching team members.
•Previous experience in planning, leading, management and execution of projects
Competencies:
•Able to put ideas into strategies, action plan, and execution.
•Ability to think through the customer - discern the essence of customer needs and sometimes even imagine hidden needs.
•Focus on accuracy and quality.
•Flexible mindset and highly aware of relevant trends.
