Experience / Qualifications
• A high caliber engineering graduate with or without PG as MBA with >15 years of prior experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
• In-depth knowledge in manufacturing engineering, process planning of products and capacity planning.
Job Responsibilities
• Oil and Gas Sector knowledge
• Product knowledge (Completion, Liner Hanger, Packers etc)
• Knowledge of API
• Manage Production Planning, Customer Service, Material planning, Inventory control, Forecasting & Supply chain.
• Review sales order received from customer and provide delivery commitment to customer based on material and production capacity availability.
• Responsible for accurate data update in JDE related to planning parameter, lead times, MOQ etc.
• Run MRP reports in ERP software and workout shortage of raw material, Buyout parts based on the firm Order and provide purchase requisition to Buyer.
• Review and action MRP Messages as per priority schedule.
• Handles communications concerning requests for quotations and purchase of all required outsource machining process on components.
• Make Purchase order for the Import Items & Outsourced Machining activities with required Specification.
• Tracking of purchase orders for outsourced machining process as well as for Import Items and sending expediters at appropriate intervals for ensuring the receipt of material well in time. Monitors adherence to schedules and take action to resolve issues.
• Preparation of route cards to fulfill the production capacity usage through monthly and quarterly plans in order to fulfil sales needs and to maintain most economical capacity usage considering the cost effectiveness.
• Review reports of Engineering Change Notices and Non-Conformance and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate.
• Coordinate with production team for preparation of monthly production plan according to the customer’s dispatch date and Plan for dispatch.
• Create Process Router in the ERP system defining all machining process including special coatings for different type of components/Assembly.
• Actively involved in the maintenance of Bill of Materials.
• If found any delay in raw material & import items, then inform customer well in advance regarding new promise ship date.
• Review customer late lines & review shortages and accordingly update new promise ship date to customer.
• Review next month orders and provide LTF to reporting Manager.
• Facilitates the cost roll process by working closely with Materials manager & Analyze work order variances.
