Responsibilities
Finance Process Optimization
-Lead and automate monthly close processes for select ventures and cost recovery within the tech/R&D organization.
-Enhance technology and SaaS vendor and license forecasting processes.
-Simplify and automate dashboard updates for scale-up/SaaS metrics.
-Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and recommend improvements.
-Automate manual reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Financial Projection Modelling & Planning Support
-Develop and maintain consolidated portfolio and technology rolling financial forecasts.
-Identify risks and opportunities in financial projections to inform strategic decisions.
-Streamline non-interest expense (NIE) and cash reporting processes.
-Lead annual planning and budgeting initiatives alongside finance leads.
-Set and manage ambitious yet achievable financial targets, particularly in NIE forecasting.
Data Collection, Preparation, and Analysis
-Gather and clean data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
-Structure raw data for analysis and perform basic statistical evaluations.
-Analyze key metrics to support financial forecasting and identify trends.
Collaborative Dashboard Development & Reporting
-Work cross-functionally with Finance and Analytics teams to assess data requirements.
-Develop and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
-Automate dashboard refreshes to provide near real-time insights.
-Present reporting recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications
-3 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business process improvement within a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
-Pursuing or holding a CPA or CFA designation (preferred).
-Proficiency in data management, analysis, and automation, with strong attention to detail.
-Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
-Proven track record of implementing new financial or reporting processes.
-Strong understanding of income statement integrity and accounting processes.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and working in a cross-functional environment.
-Fluent in English (written and verbal).
