Our client is a leading global real estate investment manager with a strong Asia foothold. Data Centre is one of the key areas of their business. Currently their Data Centre business has a presence in 8 countries over 27 locations.
They are looking for a Manager, Design & Development. This role will report to Director, Design & Development. The ideal candidate should be a Data Centre Electrical Subject Matter Expect (SME). He/She will be responsible for overseeing projects development, reviewing solutions, and Built-To-Suit applications for Data Centres. This incumbent will be part of the solutions team to support sales and consult with customers in the Global Data Centre business.

... - Oversee and support regional development teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of development projects.
- As a member of the Southeast Asia development team, work closely with consultants and internal stakeholders to execute project specifications.
- Examine development and design documents to ensure they align with project requirements and offer a strong value proposition for the company.
- Offer subject matters expertise and assistance to the Data Centre team across all stages of the project, encompassing process advice, technical insights, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support and collaborate with the Sales team in technical sales and solutions, including engaging with prospects, generating sales leads, and participating in market analysis.
- Participate in forecasting, pipeline, market analysis and evaluate trends in prospect, customer and target tenant base.
skills & experience required
- Min Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the industry, with designing electrical systems for mission critical projects such as data centres.
- Experience of working on data centre projects is preferred.
- In depth understanding of systems design as well as understanding on best practices and standards in systems design, installation and operation requirements.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service to clients and co-workers.
- Ability to learn and apply technical and business concepts quickly
- Application software skills in MS Projects, MS Word, MS Excel
- AutoCAD proficiency is a must
- Applicant must be willing for short duration overseas travel
