Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and oversee repairs to minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and resolve them promptly.
- Work on specialized equipment, such as CNC machines, hydraulic systems, or other plant machinery.
System Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance and condition of equipment using predictive maintenance tools.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance.
Spare Parts Management:
- Ensure adequate stock of critical spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of replacement parts.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations and enforce safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
Collaboration:
- Work with the production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Process Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
- Participate in upgrading machinery and systems for better efficiency.
Skills Required:
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Ability to document issues, report on progress, and liaise with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
- Knowledge of tools, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Can involve working in shifts, overtime during emergencies, and exposure to industrial environments.
- Requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.
