You'll be on the tools, carrying out PPM & reactive maintenance, but with a clear road map for progression into a supervisory role within 12-18 months. If you're ambitious, motivated, and looking for a long-term career move with real development potential, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and repair pumps, valves, pipework, sanitary systems, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and minor installations across the site.
- Conduct water hygiene tasks, including L8 Legionella compliance checks, temperature monitoring, and flushing regimes.Support mechanical maintenance tasks, assisting with HVAC systems, AHUs, and pressurisation units where required.
- Work closely with the onsite FM team, providing a high level of service to tenants and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, in compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Develop skills and knowledge to step into a supervisory role within 12-18 months.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience in commercial building services maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, pipework, water systems, and drainage.
- Water hygiene & Legionella awareness (L8 certification desirable).
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress into a supervisory position.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
