We're currently recruiting for a client who is looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site facilities team. This is a Monday to Friday, 40-hour week role with no call-outs, offering a strong salary package of £36,000 per year, plus 25 days of annual leave and 8 bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Electrical Maintenance: Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient operation.
• Fault Diagnosis & Repairs: Quickly identify and resolve electrical faults and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the retail environment.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
• System Inspections: Regularly inspect electrical systems, lighting, and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance where necessary.
• Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or potential risks.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a commercial environment.
• Qualifications: 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent (C&G Lv3 or NVQ Lv3 etc.).
• Skills: Strong electrical fault-finding skills and a good understanding of electrical systems and plant.
• Self-motivated & Reliable: Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your workload.
• Location: Based in or around Gosport, with a reliable commute to the site.
