Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality roofing products? Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Hobart.

About the Role:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing roofing products by roll-forming steel into items such as flashings, guttering, and roofing iron sheets. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as well as experience with forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate roll-forming machinery to manufacture roofing products.
• Perform daily forklift operations.
• Conduct manual handling and other physical tasks as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Current forklift license and experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to [insert weight if applicable].
• Availability to work Monday to Friday with a start time of 6:00 AM.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening test.
