The shifts are 4 day shifts at 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday.
The shifts are rotating and have a morning, mid and overnight.
Due to the schedule, it's NOT accessible to transit and you will need to have reliable transportation.
Shifts will rotate every two weeks
Shift requirement are a morning shift - 6am - 4:30pm, afternoon shift - 9:30am-7pm and overnight shift - 7:30pm - 6am
Rotating every 2 weeks
Advantages
- Pay at $.22.50 an hour, paid on weekly basis
- Full time Monday to Thursday
- Overtime pay will incur after the 10 hours of shift and 40 hours
- Overtime is available
Responsibilities
- Safely operating the machines like palletizer, harkness, and labeller
- Can adhere to production schedule
- Monitor the machine if they have in good operating condition
- Load the machine and making sure it runs properly
- Adhere to safety protocols including food safety
- Operate forklift, deliver cans to the the production line and safely maneuvering the forklift
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience
preferred
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical
issues
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred
- Forklift certification may be required
