Responsibilities
What would a typical day look like?
- Assemble / Fit fabricated components, sub-components, frames, conveyors, robotic cells, etc. as per drawings, specifications, instructions, and technical manuals
- Install, examine, troubleshoot, replace or repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies,
- Install brackets and hangers to support mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant production equipment and machinery as well as facility systems
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Licensed Journeyman Millwright, Red Seal 433A, or minimum 5 years equivalent work experience, preferably within a conveyor/custom equipment manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand fabrication drawings, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience with general fabrication processes
- Some familiarity with electrical circuit diagrams
- Forklift certificate is an asset
- Overhead crane experience/certification is an asset
- Scissor Lift training/certification is an asset
