Our client has a talented culturally diverse workforce.They are seeking an experienced Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Box Hill on a three month contract.

Qualifications and Attributes
... - Minimum of 3 years proven ability in inventory management & purchasing
- Undergraduate or higher qualifications in logistics or supply chain management
- Proven negotiating skills and ability to manage external partners
- Demonstrable experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, import and export
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, eg Shopify, Magento, eBay and Amazon etc
- Excellent IT skills and highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel Skills.
- An understanding of the not-for-profit sector
- Experience in FMCG would be advantageous
About the role.
This position will be responsible for the management of supply chain activities
(including imports and exports) to ensure the amount of inventory meets customer demand. Through
overseeing the 3PL provider and through quality control processes they provide excellent customer
experience.
Role will include
- Working with the Social Enterprise Manager oversee the purchase of all goods and services and ensure
- stock levels are efficiently managed whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Management of all stock throughout the business, monitoring the stock management system
- Liaising with the fulfilment house accordingly. Including but not limited to the following tasks:
- Analysing and approving warehouse and supplier invoices
- Practice effective stock replenishment, liaising closely with the fulfilment house.
- Customer orders, including back orders, are managed in line with SLAs
- Ensure fulfilment house has sufficient information regarding orders and inventory to fulfil
- Orders and that deliveries are accompanied by appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager
- Forecast and allocate the correct level of inventory to best meet customer demand.
- Ensure the fulfilment house has accurate product data.
- Management of third-party suppliers including warehouses, custom agents
