We are looking for an experienced Transportation and Billing Manager to manage and optimize our transportation and billing operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing logistics operations, coordinating transportation, and managing billing, while ensuring compliance with Quebec, Canadian and U.S. regulations, including those relating to hazardous materials.
Advantages
Flexible working hours but currently 7-7:30 a.m. to 4:00-4:30 p.m.

Competitive Salary 55,000-65,000$
3 weeks vacations

Annual bonus 7 to 10% depending on individual and company performance.

Responsibilities
Transportation Management
- Coordinate and supervise transport operations to ensure efficient and punctual deliveries.
- Select and negotiate with transportation providers to optimize costs and delivery times.
- Ensure compliance of transportation operations with Quebec, Canadian and U.S. regulations, including those relating to hazardous materials.
- Monitor and analyze carrier performance and propose improvements.
Invoicing Management
- Oversee the invoicing process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoices sent to customers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and answer customer questions.
- Maintain and update billing systems and customer databases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and procedures in Quebec, Canada and the United States.
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives in transportation and billing operations.
- Use management and analysis tools to monitor and improve performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in logistics, management, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in transportation and/or billing management.
- Thorough knowledge of Quebec, Canadian and U.S. transportation and billing regulations.
- Training and certification in the transportation of hazardous materials by land, sea and air.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Computer literate (Excel, ERP systems, transportation management software)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in both English and French
- Ability to work in a team and motivate others.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to constantly changing environments.
