We are currently looking for an Locate Clerk for a well-known Utility company in Burlington. This is an three month contract position starting ASAP. This individual will be responsible for speaking with contractors, residential customers, and builders to provide information about the locations of underground cables and pipes.
Job duties include customer service, reviewing and verifying locates, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be working with a company that stresses employee and community safety, reliable service, and great customer service.

Responsibilities
- Customer service to contractors, residential customers, and builders
- Providing information about the locations of underground cables and pipes
- Reconcile and identify any invoice discrepancies and making necessary revisions
- Data entry for Engineering statistics
- Administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, distributing mail, photocopying, ordering supplies
- Back up to other department clerks
- Prepare monthly reports for Engineering team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working within administration and/or customer service
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience working within a municipality and/or experience with locates is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and great people skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
