An esteemed Regional Bank with strong presence in the Asian market that offers corporate banking products such as Structured/ Project Finance and Syndications to its corporate clients. The Syndications team has an approved expansion headcount, looking for a Syndications Associate.
about the job
- Provide support to the team by building and maintaining relationships and performing industry research to keep up with the market trends
- Prepare credit proposals for new applications and renewals, suggesting improvements in credit frameworks, policies and guidelines when necessary
- Prepare pitch decks and market materials
- Assisting in CDD/ KYC/AML and onboarding clients
- Supporting the management of the deal from origination, execution, credit, documentation, closing, first drawdown and post-drawndown portfolio management
- Provide support in arrange deals in loans and syndications loans according to policy and procedures
- Coordinate within the team and liaise with internal departments such as Credit and Treasur yand external stakeholders to ensure all necessary documents are in place and smooth running of deals and sufficient funds are available
- Discuss loan terms with clients and all other participating parties
- Prompt correspondence with clients and stakeholders for queries, requests and transactional matters
- Participate in formulating strategies for improved operational efficiency and business plans

skills and experience required
- Bachelor degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in corporate banking with exposure to syndicated loans
- Strong credit analysis skills and knowledge of the loan syndication market
