About the Role:
As a key member of our well-established Lending team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support, retention, and maintenance for existing home loan customers. This role requires confidence, a caring attitude, and a self-starter mentality to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview customers and address loan inquiries, demonstrating a clear understanding of lending criteria.
- Assess customer eligibility, character, affordability, and security for home loans.
- Process applications using our Loan Origination System and advise customers on approval status.
- Prepare loan contracts and ensure all documentation is complete for funding.
- Identify business development opportunities during customer interactions.
- Manage collections activities and ensure compliance with regulatory codes and policies.
- Collaborate with third-party solicitors for settlement processes and maintain customer communication throughout.
About You:
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years in credit/lending roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
- A caring attitude towards customers and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in Microsoft Suite of products
