We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide temporary support for a leading law firm in Christchurch. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running.
You will be working closely with a team of senior legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe dictation and provide word processing support
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes
- Open new client files and matters
- Provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) support to fee earners
- Assist with commercial lease documentation
- Manage and organise legal documents
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a legal setting
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Familiarity with legal billing, invoicing, and AML procedures is a plus
