Location: Markham
Job Type: Full-Time permanent Fully in Person ( Summer Half day Friday rotations)
Salary: $60K-$70K ( Based on experience)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am -5:00pm (occasional extension to 5:30 or 6:00 PM based on client needs)

-Answer phones and manage incoming calls and emails
-Handle courier mail and organize deliveries

-Maintain active and ongoing matters using Clio and Google Drive
-File scanning and maintenance of databases
-Ensure all action items are on time and track deadlines
-Assemble packages in Adobe, including transcribing and proofreading documents
-Take and transcribe lawyer's notes and enter them into digital documents
-Prepare materials for meetings, taking minutes and tracking follow-up items
-Manage physical file folders and electronic correspondence
Qualifications
-Canadian university degree or college diploma in a related field (business administration preferred)
-Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant or Legal Assistant
-Strong organizational skills for managing emails, calendars, tasks, and project transactions
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Google Drive (Mac-based environment)
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-High level of confidentiality, judgment, and discretion
-Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively
-Must have a vehicle for occasional file transport to a storage locker
-Previous experience in a law firm is considered an ASSET, especially in corporate, commercial, or real estate law
-Proficiency in Adobe and Clio is considered an ASSET
