The Learning & Development Manager will collaborate with the Global Learning team and local leaders to plan, implement, and scale performance, learning, and development programs tailored for Japan. They will oversee the identification of learning needs, communication, and program delivery, while working closely with the broader Global People team, including HRBPs, Early Careers, Learning and Development, and People Operations.Key Responsibilities•Understand Japan-Specific Learning Needs & Develop Solutions:oManage the process of needs assessment, design, preparation, and delivery of training and development programs for Japan.oIdentify and address unique local learning needs, ensuring solutions are customized to the country's requirements.•Collaborate with In-Country Partners:oWork with HRBPs and leaders in Japan to identify learning and development opportunities.oProvide insights to APJ and Global Learning Leads to help create global solutions that resonate with the Japanese workforce.•Innovative Approach to Talent Development:oApproach talent development with creativity, adapting global solutions to meet Japan's specific needs while balancing global and local perspectives.•Flawless Program Management:oServe as the local program owner for global and in-country initiatives.oDevelop project plans, communicate with the Global People Learning team, and manage multiple stakeholders throughout the implementation process.oFacilitate training sessions (ILT/vILT) as needed to address emerging needs and enhance skills.oOffer local insights into global initiatives, such as L&D, performance development, talent strategy, succession planning, and High Potential programs.•Strategic Partnership with Japan Leadership:oCollaborate closely with Japanese leaders to understand their talent needs and align strategies with company goals.•Align Talent Strategies with Global Objectives:oConvert strategic goals into actionable plans, managing their implementation in Japan.oEnsure alignment with the global people learning team to adapt programs for local use while maintaining consistency across regions.•Vendor Management & Coordination:oEngage vendors as needed to support talent programs and ensure high-quality service delivery.oCoordinate with procurement and learning operations to ensure smooth execution of vendor agreements.#LI-Hybrid#LI-KN

•Experience facilitating highly interactive virtual and in-person learning sessions
•Experience doing needs assessments to determine the appropriate solution
•Strong project management and implementation skills
•Relationship management – includes stakeholders, partners, and other learning and development/enablement teams
•Experience with data and measuring the impact of learning
•Customer focus
•Business Level English and Fluency in Japanese
