Job Overview The candidate will be responsible to oversee all aspects of the development and implementation of Manufacturing, Operations. Reporting directly to the GM of the business, he will also support the daily operations of manufacturing and operations as well as cost reduction, productivity and total quality management initiatives Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing & operating strategies
- Establish production arrangements & manage supply chain management standard
- Develop and implement key work processes
- Use productivity and quality management tools and processes to make improvements
- Participate in developing and improving strategic plans
- Implement all aspects of Capital Expenditure
- Coordinate and implement cost reduction, productivity and total quality management projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
Requirements
- Msc / Degree in engineering
- Min 15 years of lean manufacturing operations experience
- Prior plant management experience in chemical / semiconductor / medical / product manufacturing
- Experience in operations expansion, joint venture, and supplier management as well as project management
- Willing to work around tuas area (Mon-Fri-8am-5.30pm)
- Conversant in continuous improvement methodologies such as lean or Six Sigma
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control systems
