We are looking for a Launch Planning Senior Manager who will manage projects, provide insights, and make recommendations to ensure the compliant, efficient, and effective execution of product launch preparations across the company’s portfolio, supporting the successful launch of numerous new products. This role involves enabling teams to establish, monitor, and communicate launch planning progress by developing dashboards, KPIs/metrics, and reports that reflect readiness and key indicators of launch success. Crucially, the individual will identify lessons learned from each launch, share them across therapeutic areas and assets, and report them to the global team and leadership in Japan. They will work closely with launch teams to develop cross-functional launch plans. This highly visible position within the company's Japan leadership team significantly impacts the company’s growth. The individual will be highly collaborative, excelling in a matrix environment, and work with colleagues from various functions on assets at different development stages.Your Responsibilities:■Launch Plan Creation and Coordination:- Act as a Project Manager for new indications and products.- Ensure timely and accurate inputs into the launch planning tool for real-time progress tracking, highlighting areas needing further attention.- Serve as a connector to other processes such as Strategic and Tactical Planning to ensure seamless launch planning.- Partner with Global and Japan launch teams to generate plans based on the launch model and product strategy.- Support teams by applying lessons learned and best practices to achieve operational excellence.■Launch Insights and Analytics:- Communicate launch planning progress to leadership using dashboard outputs and strategic analysis to assess readiness.- Distill lessons learned from each launch, identifying impactful deliverables and timings to facilitate effective launches.- Create and consolidate dashboards, KPIs/metrics, and reports on launch planning progress, providing actionable insights and recommendations for achieving launch readiness at key milestones.- Collaborate with launch teams to generate custom dashboards and reports to monitor and assess launch readiness.■Strategic Marketing:- Develop marketing strategies for early-stage products based on target product profiles, customer insights, and unmet medical needs, focusing on hematology/nephrology.- Lead cross-functional launch teams to ensure successful product launches.- Communicate with global teams to align strategies.■Systems Operation:- Serve as the System Administrator for the launch planning tool, managing ad hoc requests and support needs from teams on Smartsheet in Japan.- Support the launch team in operating Smartsheet.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply online. To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
■Essential
- 5+ years of commercial experience in the healthcare industry, including Marketing, Project Management, Business Analytics, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and/or Financial Analysis, Consulting.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with product launches.
- Prior experience in rare diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- TOEIC score of 800 or above.
■Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a strong aptitude in science.
