Schedule: 37.5 hours per week – 2 days from home, 3 days at the office

We are looking for an accounts receivable specialist who has worked in the food,retail, or wholesale industry, having worked specifically with deductions for large accounts such as Walmart,Loblaws,Costco, etc ! The person will be matching debit memos against data in the ERP system, using client portals, doing reconciliations, and communicating with the inside sales team.

Responsibilities
High volume deduction clean-up for large major accounts
Matching debit memos against data from our ERP system to ensure that deduction is valid for credit note issuance
Accessing customer portals to access debit memos and other backup required to make our validation, issuing and following up on disputes made through portals, communications with customer (if required)
Communications with sales team members to seek information on contracts with these large accounts to ensure we have right information to support validation activities described above
Qualifications
- 5-8 + years in an receivable role having done deductions with large accounts
- Experience with majors accounts
- Experience with an ERP system
- English language, with a good functional French language
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid excel skills – Vlookups / X lookup / pivot tables / a must
