We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team in Plymouth. As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational foundation of our youngest learners.We believe in providing a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our school is committed to nurturing well-rounded students through innovative teaching methods, a comprehensive curriculum, and a collaborative community.
Some Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across all Key Stage 1 subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and the arts.
- Develop and implement creative and differentiated instructional strategies to cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each student reach their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Prepare students for the transition to Key Stage 2, helping them develop strong foundational skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- A degree in Education with QTS.
- An enhanced DBS (we can help you to obtain this if necessary).
- Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students in a school or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and best teaching practices.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young students.
