... About the role
We are seeking a Junior/Mid-level Designer to assist with the organisation's brand identity refresh program. As a designer in this team, you’ll assist with creating design solutions including design and production of artwork for print, press, digital and social media channels. You will implement design solutions to internal and external stakeholders on all materials used by the company, this role will also produce and execute day-to-day business materials.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Creating design solutions for marketing materials
- Interpreting briefs and taking artistic direction
- Working within strict brand guidelines
- Design and production of artwork for print, press and digital/social media
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Liaise with the Project lead and Design team to obtain a clear understanding of the brief
- Foster relationships which encourage brand compliance across the organisation
- Lead by example in promoting the Vision, Mission and Values of the company
- Each employee is responsible for their own risk management, which will/may include the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks. Reporting of risks to the relevant Supervisor/Manager is essential
- Any other duties as required
About You
- Degree/qualifications in Communication Design, Visual Communication or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years (full-time) experience covering print and online, preferably within a design or advertising agency
- Strong ability to work to deadlines in what can be a high-pressure environment
- Ability to adapt design styles with strong attention to detail
- Ability to bring an existing creative campaign together
- Strong understanding of typography and layout principles across print and digital
- Comprehensive skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Experience working with Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Ability to prioritise and complete projects in a timely manner
- Experience in maintaining and adhering to brand guidelines
- Methodical approach to maintaining image libraries and artwork archives
- Knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Good stakeholder relationship and management skills
- Ability to create finished art for all mediums
- Evidence of prior work via a Portfolio, PDF or website
