Lead and manage a team of money market traders, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to drive their professional growth and performance.
Oversee the execution of money market trades, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Monitor and analyze money market trends, market liquidity, and interest rate movements to inform trading strategies and decision-making.
Product suite: Treasury Bills, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Commercial Paper, Repurchase Agreements (REPO), FX Swap and interbank lending/borrowing.
Coordinate with the ALM department to ensure that trading activities align with the bank's overall balance sheet strategy, interest rate risk management, and liquidity needs.
Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize returns and manage the bank's exposure to money market risks.
Build and maintain relationships with external counterparties, such as banks, financial institutions, and brokers, to facilitate efficient trade execution and access to money market products.
Stay updated with industry best practices, market developments, and regulatory changes related to money market trading, and incorporate them into team strategies and operations.
Prepare and present reports on trading activities, performance, and market analysis to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Money Market Trading team.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and actively contribute to the enhancement of risk management frameworks.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
minimum of 8 years of experience in money market trading/dealing, open to senior trader and dealer without people management experience
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market information.
Proven track record of executing successful trades and achieving consistent returns within the scope of money market trading.
In-depth knowledge of money market instruments, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, assess risks, and make informed trading decisions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of currency dynamics, risk management strategies, and financial markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in trading activities.
