Responsibilities
- Utilize B-Pressure welding skills to weld buckets and skids, including experience with 6-inch joint welding at temperatures up to 400 degrees.
- Work collaboratively with team members and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient conveyor repairs and maintain smooth production operations.
- Follow welding standards, ensure a safe work environment, and promptly resolve welding issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain precise records of welding activities for maintenance purposes.
Qualifications
- Must hold a journeyman welder ticket**
- Must hold a valid B-Pressure welding ticket**
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime
- Valid CWB FCAW all positions certificate is preferred
- Ability to provide your own 6" steel-toed boots
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, working at heights, agility, and navigating equipment and ladders
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
- Valid drivers license
