Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join their dedicated team, providing high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance services across our social housing portfolio in Yorkshire. What you'll be doing:
- Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work.
- Door hanging, fitting, and repairs.
- Window repairs and replacements.
- Skirting and architrave installation.
- Kitchen and bathroom fitting.
- General carpentry and joinery repairs.
- Working on both occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Completing work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with tenants and colleagues.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a joiner with a strong understanding of joinery techniques and practices
- Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or equivalent qualification.
- Valid blue skilled CSCS card.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
