Design, Develop, and Maintain: Create robust, scalable, and maintainable Java-based applications using Spring Boot for fintech solutions.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in Code Reviews: Ensure code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
Optimise Performance: Analyse and improve the performance of existing systems, ensuring they meet security and efficiency standards required in the fintech industry.
Integrate with Third-Party APIs: Work on integrating with various financial services APIs, payment gateways, and other third-party services.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in fintech and software development to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving skills and managing time
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
Proficiency in:
- Java
- Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices architecture
Familiarity with:
- Fintech-specific regulations and security practices
- Database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React
