We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Leeds. This part-time position, working 3 days per week, is available ASAP until Christmas with the potential to extend. You'll play a key role in teaching and team-teaching, as well as marking coursework, particularly for Cambridge Nationals qualifications.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in IT or a related subject.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Experience with Cambridge Nationals is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to inspire and motivate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Team-Teaching: Deliver engaging IT lessons independently and in collaboration with another teacher.
- Coursework Support: Guide students through Cambridge Nationals coursework, ensuring they understand key concepts and meet assessment criteria.
- Curriculum Delivery: Provide structured, accessible lessons that promote a love for IT and digital skills.
