Responsibilities
•Install, configure, support, and maintain user computer hardware/software in a multiple-server, network environment.
•Install, configure, and maintain industry-specific hardware/software applications such as boarding pass printers, bag tag printers, and common-use kiosks.
•Troubleshoot reported issues and perform maintenance and improvement of Corporate Systems (Windows environment including Active Directory and Exchange on-premises and in the Cloud, network, and storage systems, remote work systems, etc.).
•Troubleshoot reported issues and perform maintenance and improvement of client Systems (Building Management, Operations Systems, Displays, Kiosks, etc.).
•Diagnose and provide solutions to user computer problems, workstations, communication servers, routers, switches, etc.
•Maintain and troubleshoot WAN/LAN systems.
•Implement, deploy, and operate information systems and technology solutions for business needs.
•Stay updated on new or emerging trends and technologies relevant to the organization.
•Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
•Manage user account information, passwords, etc.
•Assist in ordering supplies and services, maintaining inventory and licensing.
•Compile daily reports and/or logs.
•Analyze system logs and identify potential issues.
•Provide immediate resolution to help desk service requests within a timely manner.
•Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.).
•Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•University degree or College diploma in Computer Technology, Computing Science, or related discipline OR a combination of relevant education and a minimum of three (3) years’ related experience.
•Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methods; systems testing and evaluation principles; IT security principles; COTS products; Internet technologies, and/or emerging information technologies.
•Understanding of operating systems, applications, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
•Excellent communication and written skills in English.
Assets:
•Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certificates.
•Project Management experience.
•Bilingualism (English and French).
Requirements:
•Possession of a Class G driver's license (province of Ontario or Québec equivalent) along with a driver's abstract (issued within the last month).
