About the role
As an IT Services Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing IT service delivery across sites in Japan (Tokyo, Saitama Plant, and Sales offices) and supporting IT site operations in China (Shanghai, Beijing, and other locations as required). Your role will ensure operational stability and seamless IT service delivery, including end-user support, infrastructure, vendor management, and cost optimization.
Who you’ll work with
You will work with a dynamic, global team, collaborating with local IT teams, vendors, and service providers to optimize IT services across Japan and China. You will also liaise with global stakeholders to align local IT services with company-wide strategies and standards.
What you’ll do
• Act as the primary IT contact for Japan and oversee IT operations in China
• Manage IT infrastructure, service desk operations, and onsite support
• Lead end-user device lifecycle management ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency
• Oversee vendor contracts, driving service quality and cost optimization
• Promote digital tool adoption and enhance user experience
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, aligning with global IT policies
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and project management in an international setting
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies
• Experience managing budgets and optimizing IT service delivery costs
• Fluency in Japanese (mandatory) and English (mandatory); Chinese skills are a plus
• ITIL, PMP, or similar IT service management certification preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
