Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager who specializes in network architecture, engineering, and operation.
about the job.
- Work closely with the Senior IT Network Manager and ensuring smooth delivery of IT network (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN) services and ensuring that it can meet the internal SLA
- Manage network team and external vendors for smooth delivery of Infrastructure services, and providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and ensure high-performance delivery
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
- Ensure infrastructure changes, authorization requests and bug fixes are applied by the team as per business requirements without disruption of service, in compliance with defined IT policies and procedure
- Manage network security protocols and policies to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
- I have 10 years of experience in the IT field, with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure and a proven track record of network architecture, management, and administration.
- Strong experience in LAN/WAN/SD WAN architecture design in the Cisco environment
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) and technologies (firewalls, routers, switches)..
- Solid experience in strategic planning, architecting, road mapping, and implementing infrastructure and network projects for enterprise-level businesses
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS will be highly preferred
- Experience in budgeting, project management, team management, and third-party vendor management
- Good communication skills and a business mindset, with the ability to manage relationships with business stakeholders
- Proficient in speaking English and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
- CCNA, CCNP or PMP certifications are a plus
