My client is an MNC in the commercial sector and they are looking for an IT Manager who is a generalist in IT infrastructure. The right will be responsible for planning and leading the infrastructure transformation projects in Hong Kong.

- Manage resources and act as a thought leader in the technology space for IT infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and other APAC offices
- Gather requirements from senior business stakeholders to define and manage strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans for the projects
- Execute IT roadmaps reflecting the digital needs and opportunities in line with the global IT strategies from the headquarters in Europe
- Understand and predict technology trends, services, and functionality, and comprehend the market adoption of emerging services and business models
- Review and manage manpower, budget, and timeline based on project priorities
- Attend strategy and planning meetings with the leadership team and other senior stakeholders to serve as a subject matter expert and suggest workable solutions for the business needs
- Assign tasks, mentor, and motivate teams or 3rd party vendors to ensure on-time delivery with a positive outcome
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and project implementation
- Prior exposure to large-scale project management in the APAC region is a must
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, including but not limited to system administration, networks, switches, firewalls, data centers, virtualization, etc.
- Solid experience in strategic planning and developing IT roadmaps for regional projects
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft products including but not limited to M365/O365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, Hyper-V, and Exchange Server, etc.
- Solid experience in IT service delivery and implementation at a strategic and operational level
- Experience in budgeting, project management, team management, and 3rd party vendor management
- Good communication skills and business mindset, with the ability to manage relationships with business stakeholders
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese is a must
- Holding PMP/CCNA/CCNP certification is a plus
